Saturday, 27 June 1795
On the 27th of June 1795 at Quiberon on the French coast 3500 Emigre troops were landed by the Royal Navy.They were to support a Bourbon rising in Brittany. Despite facing the Revolutionary General Hoche and ultimately sustaining 50% losses the Emigre forces remained active for almost a year.
