On the 6th of August 1768 in Prayssac, Jean Baptiste Bessiers was born. His father was a doctor and expected his son to follow his proffesion.
Created Marshal in 1804 Bessiers is rembered mainly as commander of the Guard Cavalry.
He died on the Battlefield.
