Marshal Edouard Adolphe Casimir Joseph Mortier died.

Friday, 28 July 1815
On the 28th of July 1815 an attempt was made on the life of King Louis Phillip. A bomb was thrown in a Paris street which, slightly wounded the King and his horse. Marshal Mortier, 8 officers and men, 2 civilians, 1 woman and a child were unfortunatly killed in the explosion.
