On the 7th of December 1764 Marshal Claude Victor-Perrin was born in Vosges. An artillery officer with Bonaparte at Toulon, governor of Louisiana and Marshal in 1804. During the 100 days he fled to Ghent with Louis XVIII. Afterwards he voted for the execution of Ney.
