Lieutenant General Sir Thomas Picton died.

Sunday, 18 June 1815
Whilst in the act of leading his men Lieutenant General Sir Thomas Picton was killed. D'Erlons attack at Waterloo was thrown back by Pictons men, but in his very moment of victory Sir Thomas was shot throught the temple and was dead before he hit the ground.
