Field Marshal Gebhard Leberecht Von Blucher died.

On the 12th of September 1819 Field Marshal Gebhard Leberecht Von Blucher died of natural causes in Krobielowice. He had been a soldier since the age of 14. During the occupation of Paris in 1814 he wanted to blow up the Jena Bridge and in 1815 was in Command of the Army of the Lower Rhine.
