Battle of Tolentino [first day].

Wednesday, 3 May 1815
Leading the Neapolitan Army King Joachim Murat attacked an Austrian army. Both sides used artillery to open the battle, which on the first day saw the Austrian General Bianchi captured . Almost immediatly he was rescued by Hungarian Hussars.
The first day ended with gains for Naples, but with Austria in a good defensive position.
