Battle of Ocana

Sunday, 19 November 1809
On the 19th of November 1809 the Spanish Army of Juan Carlos Areizaga was beaten by Marshal Soult at the battle of Ocana. After advancing the Spaniards halted for 3 days which allowed the French to gather all their available forces in the area.
