The Battle of Landeshut was fought when Lannes, with most of the Grand Army attacked Hillers rearguard as it prepared to fall back from the town. Napoleon arrived some time later. General Mouton and his troops entered the town by storming the burning bridge over the Isar.
The Austrian army retreated leaving 10,000 casualties, 30 guns and more than 7000 vechicles.
