Battle of Fiodoroivskoy

Tuesday, 3 November 1812
On the 3rd of November 1812 during the Retreat from Moscow the battle of Fiodoroivskoy was fought between the Russian forces of General Miloradovitch and the French 1st Division under Marshall Davout. Although initially having superior numbers the Russians lost the battle after troops sent back by Prince Eugene and Marshall Ney joined the fight.
