Battle of Barossa.

Tuesday, 5 March 1811
On the 5th of March 1811 the Battle of Barossa was fought between the forces of Sir Thomas Graham and those of Marshal Soult. This Allied victory resulted in Sgt Masterman [87th Reg't] being the first soldier to capture a French Eagle standard.
