On the 2nd of December 1805 in Moldavia Napoleon fought one of his most decisive battles. Austerlitz.
The Army opposing the French was led by the Russian General Kutusov, with him, Czar Alexander I of Russia and Emperor Francis I of Austria. They mustered over 85,000 men and 278 guns. The French numbered 74,000 men with 139 guns.
The 'Battle of the Three Emperors' ended in a French victory and the capture of 45 colours and 180 cannon.
