"A" Division

Dei Penates - Guardians of the Household (or small gods if you prefer)
The coat of arms commemorates Waterloo 2007 when the Division held the North Gate of Hougoumont against repeated French assults.
The portcullis represents the defended gateway, the blue ground represents the facings of the Footguards and the motto translates as 'Guardians of the houshold'.

95th Regiment.2nd Battalion.[Rifles].[U.K.]
Battalion:A DivisionThe 2nd Battalion 95th Rifles Re-enactment Group was formed in 1998. Many of our members have many years of re-enacting experience behind them. Our aim is to portray the 2/95th as they would have been whilst on active service primarily during the Peninsular War (1808-1814) and the Waterloo Campaign of 1815. All of our uniforms and equipment are based on existing original examples and from the uniform regulations of the time. Even our drill and tactics are taken from the Regulations of Sir David Dundas 1807 and the Rifle Drill Manual of 1798 and 1804.
